Adult Naming Ceremonies are held when a person takes on a new name and wishes to have a formal way for their beloved family, friends, and community to witness and celebrate this milestone in their lives.

This may be as the person has transitioned from their gender at birth and wishes to take on a new name, or perhaps another milestone in their life which includes renaming themselves. These ceremonies can vary a lot depending on the person, their beliefs and ideals, and their reason for taking on their new name.
